Members travelled to the Swan Theatre at High Wycpmbe to see the classic Agatha Christie play - And Then There Were None
The play follows the story of ten strangers who receive an invitation to spend a weekend at a remote country house on the Devon coast. The hosts are strangely absent. Amongst the guests are a reckless playboy, a troubled Harley Street Doctor, a formidable judge, an uncouth detective, two servants, a highly decorated general and an anxious secretary. Each of the guests has a secret to hide and a past crime to pay for. One by one the guests meet their deaths in ways reflecting the deaths described in the rather ominous nursery rhyme “ten little soldier boys”, framed copies of which hang on the walls around the house.
